First day back
Today was honestly so boring. I’m at this high school in my home city, moved back after 4 years, and I got my schedule 2 hours into the school day. That’s super late compared to the other students that got them like 2 weeks before today, but that’s really my old school’s fault for taking so long to send my transcript. I didn’t make it to 1st period because I was waiting in the front office until they got my schedule and sent me to the library to get a laptop. An older girl(one of the students part of the welcoming group) walked me to the library and I had to wait a bit just for the librarian to see me. THEN, when I told her I was there for a laptop she told me to go to class and come back at lunch. So I told her the office lady said to get a laptop and go back to the office, and the librarian just told me to go to class. Pretty rudely, too. But I get it, I guess. She did apologize later at lunch.
On my way to 3rd period, I did see this guy I used to be super close with and he so obviously didn’t expect to see me lol. He looked pretty surprised but we didn’t talk at all, I got spooked seeing him and started walking faster. I also saw him twice at lunch, and my ex😭😭… He walked right by me and I saw him look my way for a split second but I’m not sure if he recognized me or not. I saw quite a bit of people I knew before moving but I don’t think any of them recognized me. I did make 2 new friends, though! These girls in my P.E. class saw me and complimented my outfit. And later in the gym they called me over to sit with them. One of them likes a lot of the movies I do, and she also loves my favorite anime Horimiya. The other was busy doing work so I didn’t ask her much questions so she could focus but they were both very nice to me:)))). After school I didn’t ask take a 4 hour nap lol and it’s now 11:25 pm. I have to get up at 6:00 to get ready for classes that start at 7:55. I hope anyone else that had their first day at school or a new job had a good day, good night swans!!!!!
